How to authenticate with Cegid ID?

Last changed in 18/09/2026

Before you can use any Yet API endpoint, you need to authenticate with Cegid ID and obtain an access token. This article explains how to request that token and where to find your login credentials.

Authentication requires four fields:

  • client_id;
  • client_secret;
  • grant_type;
  • scope.

Request

To authenticate, send the following request:

TypePOST
Productionhttps://id.cegid.cloud/connect/token
Body{
"client_id": "string",
"client_secret": "string",
"grant_type": “client_credentials”,
"scope": “yet-api-external"
}
Response{
"access_token": "eyJh(…)Y6kg",
"expires_in": 14400,
"token_type": "Bearer",
"scope": "yet-api-external"
}

Obtaining Login Details

Your client_id and client_secret are generated from the Yet portal:

  1. Go to Settings;
  2. Select API Key;
  3. Choose the API you want to integrate with and click New.

Note: If you're integrating with the Energy scope, make sure to request your credentials from the API Energia card, as this uses a different scope (yet-energy).
